Privacy Policy

Effective 5 October 2026 · previous version 6 August 2026

In short — this site collects no personal data. There is no sign-up, no login, no advertising and no tracking script. The birth date you enter is never sent to a server. It is not stored by default — it stays in your browser only if you turn on “Remember in this browser” on the first screen yourself. The only thing exchanged with a server is one anonymous signal for the visitor count (5-2).

1. Personal data we collect

None. We collect no name, contact details, email, address, payment information or any other personal data, and there is no screen that asks for them.

2. About the birth date

The site offers a single optional field: your date of birth. It is handled as follows.

Open the Network tab of your browser’s developer tools and enter a date: you can check for yourself that no request contains it. (The /api/visits/ requests you will see there are the visitor-count signal from 5-2; their only content is a random string.)

3. Result card images

The site can turn the numbers on screen into a single image you can save. That image is drawn entirely on your device. It is never uploaded, and no request is made while it is created. Where you save it and whom you send it to is entirely up to you.

3-2. Read-aloud (speech)

The read-aloud feature uses the speech synthesis built into your browser. This site sends no audio data to any server and never uses the microphone. Depending on your browser and operating system, speech synthesis may be handled under the vendor’s own policy.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use no cookies. Exactly five values may be kept in your browser’s local storage, and none of them is ever sent to a server. The first four are display settings and your reading position; the last (ic.born) is your birth date, stored only if you turn that on yourself.

Pressing “Start over” in the resume prompt deletes ic.pos and ic.read immediately. Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes all of them.

So that the site can open offline, a service worker keeps the site’s own files (pages, icons) in your browser cache. Nothing you enter is placed there.

5. Logs and third parties

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) may briefly process access records (IP address, request time, user agent, etc.) under its own policy to deliver and secure the service. The operator does not look up, combine or keep these records to identify anyone.

The site contains no third-party scripts at all — no analytics, ad networks or social widgets.

The Android app (Google Play) opens this same website with your device’s browser engine (a Trusted Web Activity), and this policy applies to it unchanged. The app itself requests no extra permissions and collects no data of its own.

5-2. Visitor count

At the bottom of the page you will see how many times the site has been opened and how many people are viewing it right now. To produce these numbers, the page tells the server (Cloudflare Pages Functions) that this browser tab is open — once when the page opens and then once every 60 seconds while the tab is visible.

The promise elsewhere in this policy that values are “never sent to a server” applies in full to your birth date and every other value the site shows on screen. The visitor count is the only feature on this site that talks to a server.

6. External links and sharing

The pages contain links to other sites by the same maker, donation pages (Ko-fi · PayPal) and social sharing links (Facebook · X · LINE and others). None of them loads anything until you click it. When you click a share link, this page’s address and a short description are passed to that service; what happens there is governed by that service’s own policy.

7. Children

Because no personal data is collected, there is no separate age-based collection or consent procedure.

8. Your rights

We hold no personal data, so there is nothing to access, correct, delete or restrict. Values kept on your device can be removed by you as described in 4. Questions about this policy can be sent to the address below.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the changes and the effective date will be posted on this page. Any change that introduces collection of personal data will be announced at least 7 days before it takes effect.
